UGANDA GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS OUTREACH AND 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT YANWENYI CHURCH OF CHRIST WAS A SUCCESS

After our Gospel campaign at Lotwolo church of Christ, we drove to another location Yabwenyi Church of Christ for another outreach and Discipleship training.

We were warmly welcomed by the Yabwenyi C.O.C community, who received us with joy. During our visit, we employed the SWORD method of training disciples aiming at equipping believers with a simple and biblical discipleship method.

We studied from 1 Timothy 2:1-15, exploring the significance of prayer and conduct in the church. We helped the community understand the message according to the text, focusing on the role of women in the church. It was a wonderful experience, people were able to discover the scripture by themselves. Some sensitive and important truth about Women’s involvement in ministry challenged everyone to obey the word of God.

During our interactions, people asked thoughtful questions, including How women should conduct themselves in church, given the Bible's instruction for them to keep quiet.

We explained that the Bible advises women to nurture younger ladies and children, and we discussed the importance of their role in the church.

The church showed great interest in the teachings, they learned a true doctrine regarding women involvement in ministry. They have a lot of work to do in the church, other than preaching.

We showed the film "Jesus" twice, presenting the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. This also cultivated some important questions that helped us to explain more about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our time at Yabwenyi C.O.C was marked by a positive reception of the Gospel. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the Gospel with the community.

Next Steps

We are concluding our program in Yabwenyi and heading to Nebbi, West Nile Region, excited for the next opportunity to share the Gospel.

Amen and praise God Brethren, keep it up for Jesus . Thank You Lord and thank you all involved .
