UGANDA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT BUTAASWA CHURCH OF CHRIST IN BUYENDE DISTRICT

Reported by brother Duncan.

Wilson Maanda, Hellen and Musa On February 3rd, 2026, visited Butaswa Church of Christ in Buyende District.

During this visit, God opened a greater opportunity for us to minister through His Word.

We were blessed to conduct a Bible study at 4 Fields training with over 40 ladies from the church and the community. We shared from John 1:1–18, using the SWORD method of Bible study. The ladies were very excited about this discovery-style approach to Scripture. They actively participated carefully observing and discussing the text, and many biblical truths were clearly discovered and written on the blackboard by Mr. Musa Lubwama a teacher at Harding, who also served faithfully as our secretary and helper.

During the lesson, Hellen Kalembe shared a relational Map lesson ending with John 17:20. Helping the group understand how relationships play a key role in spreading the gospel. This was further emphasized through John 1:35–51 by me still where the ladies were encouraged by seeing how Andrew brought his brother Simon Peter and how Philip reached out to Nathanael. This example deeply inspired the group to reach their own families and friends with the gospel.

One participant, Nabirye Zeulence, shared that she learned a very simple and practical way of sharing the gospel with her relatives and friends, which showed how meaningful and applicable the lesson was to their daily lives.

We were also grateful for the support of Brother Paul Kasala the preacher at Butaswa Church of Christ, who helped with mobilization and actively participated in the class. His involvement greatly contributed to the success of the session.

At the end of the session, the ladies requested more Bible study classes, expressing a strong desire to continue learning and growing in their faith.

We thank God for this fruitful time of fellowship and teaching, and we appreciate your continued prayers and support for the work.

Wow, this is absolutely amazing and encouraging brother Duncan and the team, keep up the good works. Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
