The Kenya Gospel Chariot Missions and Gospel Share Missions rejoices on what unfolded at Cherangani Church of Christ. It was more than a worship service—it was a powerful movement of God among His people.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere carried a deep sense of purpose. During the sermon, we introduced the 3 Circles Tool—a simple yet profound way of explaining God’s design, the brokenness of the world, and the redeeming power of the Gospel. As it was shared, something remarkable happened: the message didn’t remain with the preacher alone. It spread.
Other preachers picked up the same tool and began using it immediately—during the offering exhortation and even at the Lord’s Table. The Gospel became the center of everything. Worship was no longer segmented; it was unified around Christ’s message of redemption.
And then came the moment that reminded us why we go.
A lady, deeply moved by the message, stepped forward and made a bold decision—to give her life to Christ. Without delay, she agreed to be baptized. Heaven rejoiced, and the church witnessed the beauty of immediate obedience (Acts 2:38–41).
But God was not finished.
By the end of the day, two souls had been baptized—one lady and one man. What we thought would be a simple service turned into a harvest field.
Earlier that Sunday morning, we had conducted a 4 Fields Discipleship Training, equipping believers to become disciple-makers. The seeds planted there were already bearing fruit.
The mission extended beyond the church walls. We held an open-air outreach at the gate of Boroon Comprehensive School, where many heard the Gospel in a public setting. As night approached, the community gathered for a Jesus Christ Film show, allowing the story of our Savior to be seen and heard in a powerful visual way.
And still, the journey continued.
We proceeded for a night fellowship at Kolelach Church of Christ, strengthening the brethren, sharing testimonies, and giving glory to God for what He had done throughout the day.
Now, with hearts full and faith strengthened, we move forward to the next mission field— Kapcherop Church of Christ, trusting that the same God who worked in Cherangani will do even greater things there.
This is the work of God—alive, active, and multiplying. The harvest is truly plentiful, and the laborers are rising.
Thank you and the Lord’s Mighty Name be upon us all,
Tom Opondo.
