NIGERIA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING WEEKLY REPORT - 23RD APRIL, 2026

Reported by brother Biodun.

The training began at 8:07 pm. The anchor person was Bro. Jasper Kizito, who said the opening prayer after he had welcomed everyone.

GATHER

The "Mutual Time and Loving Accountability" was handled by Bro. Udoh Bassey. He prayed for the highs and lows from the previous week. During the General Prayers, he led in songs and also prayed.

CASTING OF VISION

Vision Casting was handled by Bro. Mayowa Ogunjimi. Matthew 12.17-21 was used to encourage participants to continue the good work of sharing the gospel with lost souls.

GROW

This session was moderated by Bro. Sanni Oreoluwa. The Sword Method of Bible Study was used to analyze Hebrews 10.19-39. Lessons learned about God and Man were discovered from the text. Commands (direct or implied) and examples (positive or negative) were gleaned from the text. Some participants said their "I will" statements to conclude this session.

GO

This was handled by Bro. Egbo Ejike. "Practice Tool 9: Left Hand Guide to a Church Start" was discussed. One's left hand is drawn on a plain sheet, with each finger representing an important question to be asked and answered. It went thus:

* Who is the Church? It is the repented baptised believers (Acts 2.36-47)

* What does a Church do? The Church practices the Church Health Circle (Acts 2.36-47)

* Where do churches meet? The Church can meet anywhere (Acts 2.46;5.42; Romans 16.1-5, etc.).

* When do churches meet? The Church can meet anytime. There are no restrictions on this (Acts 2.46; 20.7, and Hebrews 10.24,25).

* Why do churches meet? The Church meets to glorify God and to encourage each other (1 Corinthians 10.31; Hebrews 10.24 and John 17.20,21).

GOAL SETTING

The goal setting was moderated by Bro. Moses Samuel. He assigned Bro. Udoh Bassey to pray for goals set by some participants.

REVIEW/COMMENTS

A review of the training was done by Bro. 'Biodun Owolabi. He appreciated all who were present at the training and admonished that participants should look for who to pray for, share the gospel with, commit the 12 tools of the Discipleship Training Manual, and how to start a group to become a local Church.

Twelve (12) participants were present at the training. Bro. Jasper Kizito said the closing prayer at 9:04 pm.

This is really great and encouraging work of the Lord, keep it up for Jesus! Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
