KENYA 4 FIELDS TRAININGS AND GOSPECL CHARIOT OUTREACH PROGRAM

KENYA 4 FIELDS TRAININGS AND GOSPECL CHARIOT OUTREACH PROGRAM

Reported by brother Tom.

Kenya 4 Fields Disciple Multiplication Training was held during the Ugunja Mission. This is Day 3. During this time, the Rongo University Christian Union gathered at Ugunja Church of Jesus Christ our Lord for an impactful 4 Fields Disciple Multiplication Training. The training was facilitated by Lucas, Gabriel, and myself, and we thank God for the spirit of unity and hunger for the Gospel demonstrated by the students.

What stood out strongly on Day 3 was the teaching on God’s Big Vision and the (411) concept of disciple-making. The session was intentionally structured to answer key foundational questions—WHY, WHO, WHAT, and WHEN of disciple-making. One student beautifully summarized the teaching by forming an acronym, calling it “the 4W of a Christian servant,” a reflection that showed deep understanding and ownership of the lesson.

The training proved very helpful for the remaining days of the mission. The daily rhythm is well coordinated: morning hours are dedicated to house-to-house visits and evangelism; training sessions ran from 2:00 – 3:40 pm; and by 4:00 pm, the team transitions to the open-air preaching venue, where the evangelistic platform had been set up for the week.

This balance between teaching and practice strengthens both conviction and confidence among the participants.

We glorify God for how He is using this partnership for His glory. Since 2024, three university groups have joined hands with us in evangelism, and we continue to witness growing interest among students. Encouragingly, Moi University has already placed a request to walk with us in spreading the Gospel of Christ.

We remain grateful to God for these open doors and pray that this growing movement of disciple-makers will bear lasting fruit for His Kingdom.

In the Lord’s Peace and love,

Tom Opondo
