KENYA 4 FIELDS AND GOSPEL CHARIOT OUTREACH MISSION WORK

KENYA 4 FIELDS AND GOSPEL CHARIOT OUTREACH MISSION WORK

Reported by brother Tom.

We give thanks to God for His grace and faithfulness as Gospel Chariot Missions Kenya celebrates its first involvement in church planting in the year 2026. With great joy, we report the successful planting of a baby church at Kamenwo Village, Bomet County, a work that unmistakably bears the hand of the Lord. This gospel campaign began yesterday and it will end on Sunday, February 8.

This new congregation has been planted through intentional door-to-door evangelism and consistent home fellowships, which opened hearts and homes to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are especially grateful to Brother Ismael Sang, who has accepted the responsibility of overseeing and nurturing this young church as it grows in faith, structure, and impact.

A remarkable testimony of God’s grace emerged on the first day of this mission, when an elderly man—newly converted to Christ—donated a parcel of land for the future construction of a church building. This generous act stands as a powerful sign of obedience, faith, and God’s provision for His work in Kamenwo Village.

The mission work continued today with renewed strength and purpose. We recognize the importance of this outreach and commend Brother Ismael for ensuring that the night gospel meeting was conducted with proper security, allowing the Word of God to be shared freely and peacefully.

Attendance exceeded expectations as many villagers gathered, drawn by the presence of the Gospel Chariot truck. This moment became a divine opportunity to proclaim Christ, engage the community, and share the Jesus Film, enabling many to see and hear the Gospel in a compelling and transformative way.

As we prepare to close this gospel meeting tomorrow, our hearts are full of gratitude and anticipation. The mission team will then proceed to Ugunja Town, where Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University Christian students have partnered with Kenya Gospel Chariot Missions to intentionally reach Ugunja with the Gospel of Christ.

Indeed, our good Lord is doing big things, and we give Him all the glory for what He has begun and what He continues to accomplish through His servants.

“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:7)

By God’s grace things happen and all glory back to our Maker.

Blessings, Tom Opondo.
