GHANA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION REPORT

MCCARTHY DOWN CHURCH OF CHRIST IN THE HARVEST - DAY ONE WAS A BANG

There were about 80 brethren from about 7 sister congregations who participated in sharing the gospel in the community, using Jesus' Story in 3 Circles. Thank God that 4 people put on Christ through baptism.

BACKGROUND

Thankfully, COVID-19 brought about new ways of doing things. During the period of the lockdown, some individuals in Ghana, including Brother Dr. Douglas Akuamuah Boateng (hc), had the opportunity to be trained in the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication model.

As a result, after the lockdown when churches began to regroup, the McCarthy Hills congregation decided to maintain the 4 small groups that were established during the lockdown period.

Today, all of these small groups have metamorphised to congregations, including the McCarthy Down one, which is to be inaugurated on Saturday, August 23, 2025. As part of the activities marking the inauguration, the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication team have joined the congregation and other sister congregations to embark on House-to-House Evangelism in the day and Open-Air Gospel Campaign with the Gospel Chariot Truck Team in the evenings.

Before the program began this morning, the 4 Fields Discipleship / Gospel Share Team took participants through an orientation and how to use the Jesus' Story in 3 Circles to win souls for Christ. It was very interesting when participants took turns to practice the tool.

During the debriefing session after all the teams had returned with joy, they expressed appreciation for introducing them to such a simple but effective tool in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We followed up with taking the 4 new believers through the 4-1-1.

The participants were once again excited that we had another tool to help even the newly baptized to bring their family and friends to Jesus, starting from day one of their baptism. We emphasized to them that we *Win the Lost and Train the Saved to Win the Lost.*

We pray the subsequent days become even more interesting with great results from the Lord as He leads us in this endeavor.
