D.R. CONGO 4FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING AT BOURGUIGNON – BUKAVU CONGREGATION
Reported by brother Pual.
Date of Visit: Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 15, 2026
Subject : Fraternal Communion and Spiritual Edification
Upon arriving in Bukavu this Saturday, I was warmly received by Brother M’massa, who leads the local Bourguignon congregation. On-site observations confirm the positive reports previously received: the church is functioning with dynamism and exemplary faith.
The worship service this Sunday took place in a modest yet fervent setting, held on the adjoining verandas of Brother M’massa’s house and his neighbor’s home.
* Moderation : Brother Célestin led the service with wisdom, directing the hymns and appointing brothers to lead the prayers.
* The Lord’s Table : Brother M’massa officiated at the Communion.
* Closing : The final prayer was offered by Brother Triny.
Although my initial intention was to discreetly observe the local spiritual progress, the brothers' insistence led me to facilitate the Bible study and the lesson of the day. Two crucial themes were developed:
* " Putting on the Armor of God to Protect Our Unity ": A call to vigilance in spiritual warfare, reminding everyone that each member is a soldier of Christ who must be equipped with divine weapons to counter the enemy’s assaults.
* " One Body, One Spirit : The Foundations of Unity ": A vital exhortation aimed at consolidating fraternal bonds and preventing the divisions that sometimes threaten congregations in the province.
One of the highlights of my visit was touring the space planned for the church’s expansion. Brother M’massa has already completed significant work by pouring a concrete slab (dalle) above his house. This space is quite adequate and offers an immediate opportunity for the construction of a shelter (hangar), which will allow the congregation to move from the verandas to a more appropriate setting.
To bring this vision to life and encourage this momentum, fraternal arrangements have been made to facilitate the rapid start of construction. This logistical and material support aims to provide the brothers with a dignified environment, sheltered from the elements, so the church may continue to grow in serenity.
We thank the Lord for the hospitality and for the growth prospects opening up in Bourguignon. We ask you to support in prayer:
* The setup of the worship shelter, that the work on the slab may proceed without hindrance.
* The Unity of the Church in South Kivu, so that this new location may serve as a symbol of gathering and spiritual strength.
In Christ!
Brother Paul Lulacha.
This is really great and encouraging work of the Lord you are all doing brother Paul and the team across the regions of DR Congo. Amen and praise God, keep it up for Jesus! Thank You Lord and thank you all involved.
