PART 2
*”The Lord’s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere…”*
(1 Thessalonians 1:8, NIV).
After speaking at the WBS GREAT WORKSHOP 2026, at the Western Nigeria Christian College (WNCC) campus at Abeokuta in the Ogun State, I proceeded to Abuja upon the invitation of our own Dr. Peter S. Egure. He is working with several 4 fields discipleship multiplication teams in various parts of the country.
This time around, he was working with the Abuja team to strengthen a new congregation planted at Luvu, in the Nasawara State through the effort of the 4 Fields Discipleship Multiplication work two years ago. It was great to see and work with Brothers Kennedy Abrotu, Solomon Effiong, Felix Ekpenyong and others. Coupled with Medical Outreach, we shared the gospel with the over 400 people who came for consultation and medication in the 3 days that I stayed with them.
Unfortunately for us, this was a community with 3 of the biggest denominations in Northern Nigeria (Evangelical Church Winning All {ECWA}, Church of Christ in Nations {COCIN} & Catholic Church). Almost everyone we spoke to belonged to one of these denominations. They admitted to the truth of the gospel and the difference in the Bible message compared to where they fellowship. However, taking a decision to stand with the truth was a challenge to them. Many promised to visit and learn more though. Please remember them in your prayers.
I took the opportunity to congratulate and encouraged the brethren in their relentless effort in sharing the gospel in various communities. I also shared snippets of experience with them to help improve their work.
It was a great blessing being hosted by Baba Egure in these few days. I have since arrived home in Ghana and presently on another mission trip.
Thanks to all for your prayer , support, and partnership that ensures the gospel reaches all and sundry.
