CMN, WALK, AND 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP MULTIPLICATION REPORT FROM CAMBODIA AND THAILAND

”But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth ” (Acts 1:8, NIV).
With Asia’s population of 4.85 billion (58.5% of the world population), that should have been where Christians should focus more in obedience to Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8. Meanwhile, the Christian population in Asia is just about 8%.
My wife and I joined other missionaries from America and South Africa to work in Cambodia and Thailand from December 25, 2025 to January 14, 2026. We worked in Phnom Penh, TNT, and Battambang in Cambodia for 2 weeks and in Bangkok, Thailand, for about one week. Both countries are idol worshippers, practicing Buddhaism as national religion.
Our work was mostly sharing the Gospel through Medical Outreach and distribution of Relief Items to displaced families in Battambang especially, sharing border with Thailand who was fighting Cambodia in a land dispute conflict.
Interestingly, we have not baptized anyone on the missions for the past 12 years since I have worked with the team in Cambodia. However, 6 people renounced their idols and put on Christ in baptism. Every member of the team, as well as those who were baptized joined the heavenly host to rejoice greatly.
The commitment and enthusiasm of the local brethren was so overwhelming. Though they’re in the minority and face subtle persecution, I would love to work together with them again and gain when I get the opportunity.
Only a few of us stayed behind to encourage the brethren in the Somprasong 4 congregation in Bangkok, Thailand. We went on a learning tour with them; I preached the sermon on Sunday while Joana (my wife) did the Ladies Bible Class.
We so much appreciate all who supported in various ways to make this possible.
