NIGERIA 4 FIELDS DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MULTIPLICATION TRAINING REPORT

Report of training during the Nasarawa State Churches of Christ Youth Conference at Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

Bro. Felix Ekpenyong Akpan reports as follows:

In line with the vision to win Nasarawa State for Christ, the team comprising P. S. Egure (Elder), Abiodun Adegoroye, Effiong Solomon, and I, Felix Ekpenyong, were on the ground to train the youths of Nasarawa State during the youth conference that took place at Keffi from Friday, March 29th, to Monday, April 1st, 2024. However, brother Adegoroye, due to health challenges that struck the family a few days before the training, could not participate, but other team members stepped into his shoes and did the needful.

A total of 120 youths from various congregations across Nasarawa State attended the conference. I must say that the Exposition of Matthew 28:18–20 exposed the youths to how indebted they are to making disciples that make disciples that multiply. The high point of the training was the brutalizing of the brutal facts. In fact, the youths were sad to see the level of lost souls in Nasarawa State. The youths that attended the training could not help but express their joy at having known a better and more effective way to carry out evangelism to win the hearts of lost souls in the state. To that end, they enthusiastically received the model, like a breath of fresh air, and promised to join hands with the team in actualizing the vision of winning the state for Christ in the next few years.

To the glory of God, one soul was added to the kingdom of Christ during the conference.
